Hosted by former Wales rugby International Rupert Moon, the lunch will be held at the Grade II listed Cornerstone, Cardiff on Friday 19th January 2024.
Sam Warburton OBE won 74 caps for Wales with 49 as captain. He led Wales to a memorable Six Nations Grand Slam and to the semi-final of the 2012 Rugby World Cup. Fittingly, his last match was the 3rd test decider at Eden Park, Auckland in 2017.
Since his retirement at the age of 29, he has become a hugely respected pundit for both BBC and BT Sport. He is also the most successful Lions captain, being one of just two men to captain the invitational side twice and having an undefeated record of a series win and a draw against Australia and New Zealand respectively.
The afternoon will commence at 1:00pm and will include a four-course set lunch by Spiro, charitable raffle and auction. The dress-code is smart casual.
Tables of 10 are available at £850+VAT. A quantity of individual covers on shared tables of 10 are also available from £85+VAT per person. We also have a limited number of Platinum tables available at £1,150+VAT. You will receive a selection of paired wines (a glass per course) along with prime location seating for the main event.
