We are delighted to offer you the opportunity to join us at our Wembley ’99 Wales v England 25th Year Anniversary Dinner. The dinner hosted by Scott Quinnell will be held at the iconic Coal Exchange Hotel, Cardiff Bay on Thursday 11th April, 2024.
25 years to the day, join us as we look to reunite that famous Welsh team which prompted scenes of wild celebration among fans at Wembley and across the nation. Playing at ‘home’ at Wembley, Scott Gibbs scored one of the most celebrated tries ever scored by a Wales player, as Wales denied England the Grand Slam.
It took a steel-nerved Neil Jenkins MBE conversion to complete the 32-31 victory for Wales, which handed the last ever Five Nations Championship to Scotland.
The evening will commence at 7.00pm and will include a three-course dinner, live auction and charitable raffle. The dress code is lounge suits and dresses.
Joining us will be Scott Gibbs, Neil Jenkins MBE, Robert Howley, Dafydd James, Peter Rogers, Garin Jenkins, Ben Evans, Craig Quinnell, Chris Wyatt and Colin Charvis.
