We are delighted to offer you the opportunity to join us for a special ‘Lunch with The Cat’ – Phil Tufnell on Friday 12th June, 2026. The lunch will be held at the 4* Marriott Hotel situated in the heart of Cardiff.
Tufnell – affectionally known as ‘The Cat’ or ‘Tuffers’ is regarded as one of England’s greatest left arm spin bowlers playing in 42 test matches, and 20 one day internationals. He had a reputation for being one of the greatest characters in the game.
After an abrupt end to his cricketing career, Tufnell has since carved out a successful career in the media as a commentator for Test Match Special.
In 2003, he was named King of the Jungle in ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get me Out of Here’! He also successfully undertook the captaincy role on ‘A Question of Sport’ alongside Matt Dawson in 2008.
The lunch will commence at 1pm and will include a two-course dinner, charitable raffle and auction (live and silent) which includes a fantastic array of events, hospitality, experiences and memorabilia. The dress-code is lounge suits and dresses.
Tables of 10 are available from £850+VAT. A quantity of individual covers on shared tables of 10 are also available from £85+VAT per person. We also have a limited number of Platinum tables available at £1,200+VAT. You will receive a selection of fine wine along with prime location seating for the main event.
We also have a limited number of VIP experiences available at £1,750+VAT per table. You and your guests will receive an exclusive pre event Champagne reception with our special guest, a souvenir VIP lanyard, photo opportunity along with a selection of fine wine and prime location seating for the main event.
